Masterson’s Tavern , nestled in the bustling area of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my most recent experience at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I discovered behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The floorboards were filthy, and a foul smell of old alcohol and filthy restrooms polluted the entire venue . Reeking of a mixture of ammonia , decay and a sickly smell.
